Yes polyester fillers come with microfibers that give a soft, spring back cushion feeling. The advantage of a polyester cushion insert filler is its resilience to heavy use and ability to also be used outdoors due to its quick drying properties. Polyester fillers are more stain resistant and hold their shape well.
When used with well made cushion covers, such a heavy, plain woven cotton cover, a polyester filler will comfortable and soft to use.
A weight of 450 GSM is recommended for cushion inserts. This give a nice spring back support for cushions used on sofa, beds, and lounge chairs.
